it never fails...
HubbyDear left on another business trip today and the spiders have already started to come out of hiding to greet me. This one looks small in the pic, but measures approximately one and one quarter inch in diameter (legs included). It's the fast moving, sneaky type. I try to avoid watching certain movies when HD is away and the spiders come out to play.
P.S. Pictured spider has been rendered...immobile. Sorry, spider-lovers...

Did you find out what kind of bug that is?
Fact: there are approximately 60,000 spiders per acre. Sometimes they eat mosquitoes! Yay!
Hope that news didn't bug you...

Egads!
One spider per acre is plenty enough for me! If the one pictured was a mosquito eater, I don't know and I don't care. All I know is that this particular one won't be crawling in my hair tonight!
This bug is a - dead bug.
It's still where it expired - kinda curled up. I can't pick it up - even with a tissue....too crunchy...
[shudder]
vacuum it up!

did i ever tell you the about my brother's incident with a spider? you may want to keep cotton in your ears whilst sleeping....i did for a while. my brother had this odd sensation in his ear, and it was quite annoying. this happened quite some time ago, so i don't remember all the particulars, but i know he was putting drops of peroxide in his ear, thinking maybe he had some itchy wax build-up...i know gross, but not as gross as having a spider crawl out from your ear!! what are the chances of that happening? i don't think i want to know.

arrrrggghhh!
up until now, i've been concerned about spiders making their way onto my pillow, then into my hair...
now i can imagine 'in the ear'.
thanks!! (not!)
long ago, a friend of mine had evidence of a mouse in her house, and one night it ended up - on her forehead (when she was sleeping). you can bet she woke up with a start - and a scream.
arrrrgh!
vermin and bugs - stay outside, please!
What about moths? or frogs? or birds? or lizards? We've had all in the house! But the mosquitos that get in really bug me! Grab the nearest piece of clothing, stand on the bed and snap, snap, WHACK that little buzzing bug! That's why when those big spidery things called mosquito eaters get in I welcome them! The runaway dog getting in? That’s the worst…
Love living in the country!
